I’ve got a sign in my office that says, “she got mad hustle and a dope soul”, that sign along with my favorite scripture, Psalm 118:24, are daily motivation. A repeated mantra when I’m tired. We aren’t perfect, but we always find a way. We’ve had plenty of all nighters (okay, 3 am is an all nighter these days!), days we want to call it quits, orders that are so big we want to cry happy and stressful tears, but we just keep putting one foot in front of the next. When one of us is down, the other finds the motivation. when one of us misses a deadline, we give some grace, and help out the other one. We are determined to make this work, so in the valleys and on top of the mountains, we will just keep pushing. 4. This all works because we communicate- often, maybe via text, email, instagram, and a phone chat, all within a 5 minute period, but you get it, we talk a lot. We don’t always agree, but we always talk. Soccer game, football practice, teacher meeting, fever, or just need some mom time…we always say yes for our kids. We agree on most things anyway, but what I can tell you that we always agree on is that we love being moms more than anything. We also recognize this time in our life is fleeting and precious and in 10 years these moments will be far less frequent so today, we choose our kids, or always. 2. “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace … ” (1 Peter 4:10). We feel very blessed to be entrusted with the gifts we have received and it’s our duty to use those gifts to serve those around us, to drive others to Christ. It’s a simple principle to live by and it grounds our personal lives and business. Over the next few days we are going to share some stories to help you get to know us better! We thought the best way to kick this off would be to share the story behind our name •Luck + Grace• ⁣ ⁣ It may surprise some of you to know we both had our own separate small businesses at one point, both making personalized bracelets. At that time, we were completely unaware of what the other was doing! So, let’s rewind to 2019 - Ashton texted Alex to tell her she was going to make her a stack of bracelets for her with her kids’ names on them. Alex responded to that text with a picture of her very own bead stash! (she was doing the same thing) That’s when we first found out we were both making bracelets! Fast forward a few months- after MANY late nights chatting and keeping each other company while fulfilling orders for our own customers, we made the decision to join forces! Alex’s business name at the time was The Lucky Roo, and Ashton’s was Stacks of Grace- and that’s where we got our business name •Luck + Grace• Equal parts Aly, equal parts Ash.⁣ ⁣ Fast forward to present time. Here we are, 4 years later still beading and dreaming EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. There have been hundreds of late nights, thousands of conversations, and what feels like millions of prayers! We have walked this small business journey together every step of the way! And through it all there is one thing we’d like to make clear - we run on 0% Luck and 1000% Grace. ⁣ ⁣

Have you ever had a moment or a season in your life you can look back on and say you’ve actually seen or felt God’s favor? It’s one of those things that’s hard to put into words, the favor of God. I think most of the time we don’t even realize what’s happening until after the fact. It’s hard to put into words what we have experienced as individuals and a business since we launched our Found bracelets, but it feels a lot like God’s favor. Opportunities we never could have dreamed of are becoming reality. Doors seem to fling wide open every time we knock. It truly is amazing. As we walk into this new season we just want to say thank you to those of you who have supported us through your kind words, encouragement and prayer. It means more to us than we can express here. But we see it hear it, and feel it! We know, that we know, that we know, that Luck + Grace was created for such a time as this. To use bracelets as a beacon of hope.
